Wont convert units?

I purchased this app as it looked like it had all the requirements (and Im sure it does), but I live in Canada and want to convert the units from kg to pounds. When I do the app crashes and shuts down...very frustrating!!!!! Unless you wanna convert everything mentally stay away from this until they fix the convert unit feature.
